For a long time, the only place to buy organic food was at farmers markets. Now you can find it in grocery stores too! The popularity of these healthy products has grown tremendously over recent years and there are now an abundance of options available for shoppers looking forward to their next shopping trip with picky eaters by their sides. Now there’s an organic alternative to almost every product on the market, snack foods, shampoo, and now even pet food.
You’re probably thinking “organic pet food, that’s crazy”. But let’s take a look at some facts: Last year in America alone 150 million dogs were eating commercial brands! At least 75% choose these over an organic alternative because they know what kinds are bad for us (and that includes fur).
Yet despite this knowledge most shelters still receive donated food from companies who sponsor contests where winning prizes include free dog chow – which many times goes straight into landfill due to its lacklustre nutritional values anyway…
The average pet food contains the same chemicals as our daily meals: pesticides, fertilizers and hormones. These ingredients can be hazardous to your furry friend’s health if eaten in large amounts or over time! In addition many producers add small doses of toxic substances that are known danger for both pets consumer alike.
House pets have only recently been domesticated. That means that until recently, dogs and cats ate raw meat with no chemicals at all. Their bodies aren’t adapted to deal with the many different unnatural foods we feed them nowadays which leaves their systems vulnerable to build up of toxic symptoms over time if left unchecked by natural organic whole food ingredients in your pet’s meals recipe book.
Feeding them natural organic foods on a more regular basis will help keep those harmful toxins from building inside while also optimizing his/her optimal functioning ability as well through better digestion. This delicious treat contains all natural ingredients and will help your pet have more energy, stay healthy, and live longer.
However, one of the biggest concerns I have about organic pet food is that it can’t be strictly regulated. This means that if a dog’s diet includes non-organic vegetables, his producer could add in beef and chicken for him while still labeling their product as “organic.”
You might be wondering, “What does an organic seal on my pet food mean?” And surprisingly, you’ll find that not all certifiers have seals for these foods. For example, if there is a USDA Organic logo then 70% or more ingredients in the package are produced without pesticides and herbicides!
While there is not certification that can prove a pet food product is entirely organic, there are steps you can take to find the safest food for your pet.
First, look for foods that claim to be organic and all natural. Another step you can take is talking with other dog owners about their experiences in order find experts at maybe your local kennel club or go online if there are sites dedicated exclusively for discussing pets’ dietary needs where people share advice on what works best when it comes down maintaining healthy teeth & gums while also staying slim as well.
Just make sure any information shared here has been verified beforehand because these companies often pay someone else who says otherwise just so we believe them instead – always do research before trusting anyone
If you’re looking for the best way to verify quality, check out ingredients lists. Words that are not pronounceable and vague words like “natural flavors” should be suspect as well.
By deciding to feed your pet organic food, you’re taking care of their well being for the long-term. Not only does this increase its likelihoods at getting all it needs from health and diet but also decreases any risk that might come with pesticides or preservatives in regular processed foods.
While it might take just a little bit more effort than going with something less sustainable (i.e., nonorganic) on occasion, eating some “green” can make someone very happy indeed!
